Summertime… And the Living’s Easy (Or Not)!

Greetings JaJo CWMA Team!

Whew, it is clearly summer now, isn’t it? I hope you’re all doing well out in the field in this heat and/or enjoying some time on the river. The Rogue Aquatic Invasives Network (RAIN) is ramping up with plenty of opportunities to join us on the river pulling aquatic weeds. Thank you to those that were able to join us for the CWMA float last month! More information will be included below on RAIN floats in July, August, September, and October.

Our next meeting isn’t scheduled until Wednesday, August 27th, but it will be here before we know it. A meeting agenda and Zoom information will be sent out as we get closer.

We hope that you all are enjoying and surviving the holiday season! Since we do not have a December meeting scheduled, we figured that a newsletter would be appreciated.

November 2024 – The Holiday Season is Upon Us!

May 2024 – It’s Beginning to Feel More Like Summer!

Another month and it will be summertime! Who’s a summer person? Personally, I’m a fall/winter gal, but there are certainly fun things that you can really only do (comfortably) during the summer.

Remember, rather than a sit-down meeting next month, we are planning for a weed day work party for June 26th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. This work party will take place along the Bear Creek Greenway near the Dean Creek Road entrance (north end). Coffee, water, and snacks will be available.
