Seed Blitz Part 2 White Rabbit Trailhead

We need your help to collect seed from a variety of native species in the Ashland watershed! The seed collected at this event will be used in restoration projects in the area to improve pollinator habitat and reduce invasions of non-native plants. Beginners welcome! We’ll be teaching everyone how to id the species we’ll be collecting.

Things to bring:

1. Please download Avenza. We’ll be using it to track the patches of plants we find. If you’ve never used this app before, I will be providing a quick crash course before we begin collecting.

2. If you have a small plastic bucket you can attach to your waist with a carabiner bring it. We will also have some on hand.

3. Make sure to bring plenty of water, sun protection, hat, gloves, a snack, and appropriate shoes for poky clingy seeds.
