Impromptu seed collection at Whetstone Savanna

Meet at the southwest entrance to the property we called the VPMCB (Vernal Pool Mitigation and Conservation Bank). That entry is accessed by Honey Tree Lane off of Gibbon Rd.

Directions: From I5, take Central Point exit 33, drive east on East Pine Rd (turns into Biddle after the intersection) for 1 mile, turn left on Table Rock Rd at the traffic light. Drive north on Table Rock Road 2 miles to the intersection with Gibbon Rd. Take a left on Gibbon Rd and drive 2 miles until you come to a small dirt side road called Honey Tree Lane. Turn right onto Honey Tree Lane and follow it to where it ends at a rough parking area, ODOT sign, and chain-link access gate to the site. Please drive slowly on Honey Tree Lane to keep dust down for the neighbors. The preserve is north through the gate.  Look for a small white pickup truck.
