Event: 2023 Wildfire & Urban Landscape Symposium 

When: Friday, January 20 from 8:00AM – 4:00PM
Where: Camelot Theatre, Talent, Oregon
Description: Discussing climate resiliency, fire resiliency, and urban ecology in the wake of the Almeda Fire. There are seats still available – email us at moxendine@cityoftalent.org to reserve your seat.

Event: Open Lands Day at Rogue River Preserve 

When: Saturday, January 21st @ 10AM – 2PM
Where: Rogue River Preserve – 646 Rogue River Drive Eagle Point, OR
Description: Bundle up and start the New Year with a peaceful visit to the beautiful Rogue River Preserve near Eagle Point. Join us at the next Open Lands Day for a guided hike or self-guided exploration. This event is free, but registration is required.

Event: Rogue River Watershed Council Seminar – Bear Creek Restoration 

When: Wednesday, January 25th @ 6PM
Where: 293 Rossanley Dr., Medford, OR
Description: John Speece, RRWC Project Manager, and Joey Howard, P.E. Principal, Cascade Stream Solutions, LLC, will present on a planned restoration project on Bear Creek in Talent, Oregon. They will discuss the Rogue River Watershed Council, the Bear Creek River Mile 19.0 project objectives, the design process, and outreach strategies. They will be available for a question and answer session after the presentation.

When: Starting February 6th @ 6-9PM, 10-week, 30-hour course
Where: RCC/SOU Higher Education Center in Medford, OR
