Jackson + Josephine COOPERATIVE WEED MANAGEMENT AREA (CWMA)
The Jackson and Josephine Counties CWMA is a network of individuals, agencies and organizations concerned with rural and urban invasive weed issues in Jackson County and Josephine County, Oregon. The Cooperative Weed Management Area has come together to increase communication and cooperation, and to facilitate efforts across all landownership types to effectively control weeds in the two counties. Since 2010, the Jackson and Josephine Counties CWMA has been housed under the Rogue Basin Partnership (RBP). The mission of the Rogue Basin Partnership (RBP) is to unite people in restoring the Rogue River by strategically investing in stewardship of the 3.3-million-acre basin.

A Cooperative Weed Management Area (CWMA) is a partnerships of federal, state and local government agencies, tribes, individuals, and various interested groups that manage noxious weeds or invasive plants in a defined area.
